Famous Psychics

 

There have been many psychics throughout history that have lived in the pages of books long after they left their earth bound bodies and their stories are amazing, their abilities inspiring as well as interesting to those who believe and do not have these amazing abilities. The names and their gifts go back in to the sands of time for centuries even dating as far back as Ancient Greece and also to the Romans.

One of the most heard of psychics or as he was known during his time was a seer this of course was Nostradamus, who was born December 14, 1503 and died July 2, 1566 and during his life he would leave many texts of events he saw as happening in the future. His writings named Les Propheties was first printed in 1555 and has stayed in print over the course of history and Nostradamus with his predictions that many feel have come to pass since his first writings and up until the present day.

Edgar Cayce is another of these people with abilities that history remembers them for, he was born March 18, 1877 and died January 3, 1945 and was American. This man was labeled the sleeping profit, for while he slept he would give readings that his wife would write to paper. He gave many readings that were for medical in nature and today there are Edgar Cayce students all over the world today.

The Fox sisters were Kate born in 1838 and Margaret born in 1893, they were from Rochester New York and became famous for their abilities as psychics after news of the home they lived in was haunted.

Daniel Dunglas Home who was Scottish born March 20, 1833 and died June 21, 1886 became famous for the hundreds of seances he held as well as the fact that it was said he could levitate and many of his clients were some of the best known names in the Victorian era. Even the famous writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle made comment that it was unusual that Home had powers in different areas.

Today there are well known psychics that are famous in their own right such as Sylvia Brown who is often on television to answer people’s questions, John Edward, James Van Praagh and Jeanne Dixon. Each of these people are names that are often heard and they each have their different ways of forecasting the future.
