What Is Precognition?
Precognition is the ability to see something; such as an event prior to it taking place that when it comes to pass it is of little surprise. This is a rather mysterious ability and while there have been some studies done there is much that is not known or understood about this ability.
What has been found in studies about this ability is that the most occurrences of it are during dreaming hours rather than during waking hours. These studies have also found that there is more of a percentage of the vision relates to a spouse or other family member and this can include friendships where there is an emotional bond.
There are many who dismiss precognition as just a fluke or just do not believe in it, while others are of the opinion that it may be a type of angelic intervention into the sleep and dreaming hours.
Along with these studies there have also been some quantum physics books written that broach the subject of precognition and while they admit that it can exist they do not state how it works and they explain it in a way that there is more than one universe that we deal with without our conscious mind recalling.
While this is something that has been studied and even written about as it is more of a psychic ability there are many scientists that will not study the subject or consider it as a real occurrence just as with many other types of psychic abilities are dismissed by science.
This is not a new type of psychic ability; this is one that has had instances of it recorded throughout history and was in the ancient past believed to be a true gift rather than an ability. Today while the scientific world knows that it exists are not likely to approach this gift of dreams that turn to reality it may remain a mystery. The ability of dreaming of events of the future and one of the many questions are is this a instinct or intuition that is a psychic ability that comes to the person in their sleep with bits of clearly defined future events.
This is an ability that is little understood but is one that has clear and precise images of the future but is also mainly focused on those close to the person with the precognition abilities.
